back in ottawa, i have a new toy -- the monome 40h. it's a usb control box with 64 illuminated buttons, all totally assignable.
using max/msp, this box can basically do anything. primarily, i use it to control a real-time looper called mlr. these excerpts are from a live performance at the avant-garde bar in ottawa, where i played for forty minutes using
nothing but max/msp and the 40h. it was all improvised using material from some of my work on film scoring.
